Since we see the woodland as an ecological asset and oversee it overall, we at Forestry Commission work for the betterment and improvement of our woodland.

Our experience is popular around the world, and visits from ranger service associations abroad keep on increasing. We deal with an extensive variety of diversion and vacationer offices, from deer stalking to mobilizing, and direct notable destinations including hand trucks, fortresses and medieval towns.

In 2013 the Forestry Commissioners’ duties in Wales marked its 94 years of preservation and improvement of our ecological system through the following ways:

• We plant a large number of trees each year, to make new forest and to supplant the trees we collect. Some of these trees will recover cursed modern scenes.
• The risk to trees from nuisances and infections has never been more noteworthy. Our plant wellbeing officers review wood imports at ports around the nation to limit the hazard from remote bugs and sickness.
• We give awards, licenses and counsel to private forest proprietors to energize new tree planting and to help keep private backwoods and forest under dynamic and practical administration.
• We ensure species, enhance natural surroundings and secure authentic destinations. As environmental change turns out to be more unpredictable and testing we confront losing some of our local species.
• We take debased land nobody else needs and transform it into green space for the advantage of all.
• More individuals visit a woods than do the shoreline. We offer guests a large number of waymarked strolls and trails, cycle courses and harness ways, open each day and for nothing out of pocket.
